
Yin is a stationary practice of introspection, softness and non striving. We hold each shape for several minutes, allowing the muscles to disengage and committing to stillness. Helping us to tap into our parasympathetic nervous system, we can offer our bodies deep release. One on one sessions are perfect if your new to the practice or wanting to work on something specific.
Yin yoga honors the traditions of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and it is believed that by working with the energy body through the Meridian System can bring balance to the health of our organs and mind/body connection.
Yin is a practice of meeting yourself where your at, developing deep patience and self knowledge. It is the perfect introduction to meditation and body awareness.
